Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering
John P. Verboncoeur is Senior Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at the College of Engineering of Michigan State University (MSU), where he also serves as Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computational Mathematics, Science and Engineering. A Fellow of IEEE, he has authored over 450 scientific publications and leads research initiatives spanning computational physics, energy, and smart technologies. At MSU, he has been a key driver of SmartAg, the university's strategic initiative on intelligent and sustainable agriculture, making him a leading voice on the intersection of advanced engineering and the agrifood sector.
